Prior training incidents
Failure to disclose behavioral history may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
5. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that dog training, boarding, daycare, transportation, grooming, and physical activity involve inherent risks.
These risks may include:

Minor or severe injuries

Illness

Stress-related conditions

Property damage

Escape

Unexpected behavioral incidents
By participating in services, you voluntarily assume all associated risks.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Maryland law, Academy Dog Training and its owners, employees, trainers, affiliates, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for:

Injury, illness, loss, or death of any animal

Injuries caused by client dogs

Veterinary expenses

Property damage

Loss of personal items

Incidental or consequential damages
If liability is established, damages shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service involved.
7. Emergency Veterinary Authorization
If Academy reasonably believes emergency veterinary treatment is necessary, we may obtain care on behalf of the owner if the owner cannot be reached promptly.
The client authorizes Academy Dog Training to seek veterinary care when deemed reasonably necessary.
The owner agrees to pay all veterinary costs incurred.
8. Training Results Disclaimer
Dog training results vary significantly depending on:

Lifestyle factors
Academy Dog Training does not guarantee:

Training is an ongoing process requiring owner participation and maintenance.
9. Use of Training Tools
Academy Dog Training may utilize a variety of training tools and methodologies depending on the dog and training goals.
Clients acknowledge that tools may include:

Place boards

Remote collars/e-collars

Prong collars

Food and toy rewards
Owners are encouraged to discuss any concerns before participation.
10. Boarding & Daycare Policies
Clients understand that boarding and daycare environments involve interaction with staff, environments, sounds, equipment, and potentially other dogs.
Academy reserves the right to:

Separate dogs for safety

Crate dogs when necessary

Modify participation levels
-
Refuse social play
-
Remove dogs from programs
Late pickup fees, cancellation fees, holiday surcharges, and reservation deposits may apply.
11. Payments & Refunds
All pricing is subject to change without notice.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Deposits may be non-refundable

Training packages are non-transferable

Missed appointments may be forfeited

Boarding reservations may require advance payment
Refund decisions are made solely at Academy’s discretion.
