Daycare Training Curriculum: Basic Obedience 201-
Loose leash walking (Lets Go)
Sit / Stay 3 minutes at 12 feet away
Down / Stay 10 minutes at 12 feet away
Sit, Down, and Come From a Distance
Out-Of-Sight Down / Stays
Canine Socialization [Dog neutral behavior while on leash]
Logistics -
The Daycare Training Program allows you to drop off your dog in the morning (9am to 10am) and pick them up after training in the afternoon (between 3pm-6pm.) This program is 3 weeks long, Tuesday through Friday for three weeks. Your dog will be trained four to 5 sessions a day on the course outline.
Post Lessons-
Following the In-School portion of training, you will complete 3, one hour, Private Lessons with your dog and their trainer so you can be taught how to lead your dog. Once your trainer determines that you can effectively lead your dog, you move forward to the four Group Classes.
Group Classes are held in real life situations and will help you to put the final touches on all of your training commands. At the end of the Group Classes there will be a final exam. The owner and dog team are required to pass this TEST in order to graduate school.
